Dating desi style is a phrase I have coined, referring to the dating ritual adopted by people of from the South Asian subcontinent like India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. I believe the younger generation i.e. the fifteen to twenty year olds are more accepting of the concept of two people being allowed to decide for themselves who they want to spend time with and maybe even marry compared to their parents who still believe in the arranged marriage way of doing things.
